About

QCE is a branch of the Concurrent Education Students’ Association (CESA) at Queen’s University that is organized by a dedicated executive of five Concurrent Education students. QCE is an annual not-for-profit event that brings together students from universities across Ontario to explore issues related to teaching and education. While delegates’ interests are vast – ranging from early childhood education to adult education, from special needs to English as a Second Language, and from arts to science to music etc., they share a common passion for education and love of learning.

Over the course of three days, delegates take part in keynote addresses, professional development workshops, discussion panels, breakout discussion groups, a teaching resource fair, and a closing banquet. This conference provides a perfect outlet for students to engage in an important dialogue surrounding education and to collaborate with peers and develop strategies for success in our future. The Conference aims to provide a medium for discussion as well as resources and knowledgeable speakers in order to deliver an informative, rewarding and engaging weekend!
