Workshops → Kelly Dear
Kelly Dear has been working in education, social justice, and comedy for longer than she cares to remember. She holds multiple ABQ certifications, her PQP part 1, and specialists in Contemporary Studies and Guidance. She ‘teaches’ at the high school she graduated from in both Focus Programs and mainstream drama and is the staff advisor for student council, improv, anime and the Character Ed. team. At present Kelly is knee deep in SHSM program, and frantically waiting for spring so she can drive her new Porsche into the sunset. When not in the classroom, Ms. Dear works for OSSTF, touring, training, and writing workshops on Cyber Bullying, Homophobia, and Gender Based Violence. As a comic Kelly has hosted and performed across Canada, and is looking forward to bringing her acerbic wit back to Queen’s to mock the mainstream.
