What is QCE?
QCE stands for "Queen's Conference on Education", and as our name implies, we are a conference all about education! But, we are a bit more than that. Queen's Conference on Education strives to inspire and inform future educators through keynote speakers and a wide variety of workshops. Not only do our workshops offer delegates ideas for becoming better educators, but they also impart valuable transferable skills that help develop leadership, presentation, and creative potential. QCE is completely student-run! The conference is headed by the QCE Executive Team, with the help of our wonderful volunteers and in coordination with the Queen's Faculty of Education.
When and where is QCE?
This will be announced soon.
What is the cost of a ticket?
This year the executive team worked really hard to make the conference as monetarily accessible as possible, so we have priced each ticket at $15, which includes a keynote speaker, three workshops and a panel discussion.
How do I register for the conference?
Registration for QCE 2021 will open in January 2021.
How do I know if I am an Internal or External Delegate?
Internal delegates are considered to be conference attendees that are enrolled at Queen's University and are currently in the Concurrent Education program. External delegates are students from other universities and those Queen's students who are not in the Concurrent Education program.
Am I able to get financial aid to attend QCE?
Information about financial aid will be announced soon.
Who will be speaking at QCE this year?
Our theme and speaker reveal will be happening in November, so stay tuned on our website and social media platforms!
