This year, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in mind, QCE will be held in a hybrid format. Delegates and presenters who are able to be in Kingston are welcome to join us in person, but delegates from elsewhere are encouraged to participate online. The QCE team is continuing to monitor public health guidelines and have contingency plans in place in the case these protocols change. To ensure everyone's safety, we have implemented several measures for in-person delegates and presenters to follow.
Masking and Social Distancing
All attendees of the conference will be asked to wear a mask at all times, except for when actively eating or drinking. As well, presentations will be held in smaller groups to ensure social distancing can occur.
Proof of Vaccination
All attendees will be required to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks before coming to the conference. Proof of vaccination will be required before entering the conference facilities.
COVID Screening & Symptom Check
All attendees will be required to complete a self-assessment and report any possible COVID-19 symptoms before both mornings of the conference. As well, all delegates and presenters will undergo a temperature check during both mornings to ensure that they do not have a fever.
