WORKSHOP A:

Social Changes and How They Influence the Education Community

About the Workshop Theme

Social norms continue to evolve in society, as social movements change the way individuals think and act. These social norms can differ between communities, and can continue to change over time such as acceptance of LGBTQ+, low- income households, and split families. With this workshop we wish to explore how educators are able to tie these evolving social norms into teaching and how they adapt to these changes amongst different communities.
